Such a Big Helper!

Here are a few recent photos of the kids. The other day we got to take a quick family day trip to the cabin. Chad decided he was going to fill up the woodshed with the wood outside the cabin, and Avery quickly jumped in to help. She had her helper day at preschool yesterday too and we decided we would take in some photos of her helping her daddy at the cabin so everyone could see. It was a fun, relaxing day together! So glad we were able to make it up there at least one last time before it gets too cold! I'm sure we'll be heading up once the snow starts coming down :)

The Cabin and a Few New Toys!

Earlier this month we went up to our cabin for a fun day! We roasted marshmallows, played in the dirt, and Avery got to try out her new bike!! She's actually doing really good on it as long as she's on farely solid ground lol. Chad of course had to give it a shot too before she rode it.

Last month Chad and I went to Auburn to check out a four wheeler he's had his eye on for a long time. We came, we bought, we left, and it's been a blast playing with it since then! I don't think a day goes by when he doesn't ride it. Avery hears him turn it on outside and she goes running hoping for a ride! She's already told me that Pappy has bought her a 4wheeler too and is going to pick it up... Not sure where that came from lol, but she loves going on rides with her daddy! I must say, I have really liked riding it around too. Of course I'm not doing anything too crazy being 7 months pregnant, and I think my 4wheeler riding days are over for a couple of months, but it was great getting on it at the cabin and a little bit here at home!

The latest update on the Barnharts!

Things are going well in the Barnhart household. It's been an extremely mild spring. I can't believe we haven't had to water our lawn yet this year and it's June! lol. We did have a little sun a while back and I got some pictures of the kids playing out in the blow up pool at Katy's house.

A couple weekends ago Chad and I were able to take Saturday and part of Sunday off and go to our cabin. Of course we had to make a stop before the cabin and pick up Chad's new toy... a 4wheeler. We're having a lot of fun with it! I have pictures but they are on his camera so I'll have to get them off of their some other time. It was a fun day with just the two of us, and the kids have been nothing but excited about the 4wheeler since we brought it home. Avery asks to go for a ride constantly, and loves taking off with her Daddy. The twins have been happy enough riding a little around the yard. After Avery got to ride it for the first time she told me that Pappy ( my dad ) bought her a 4wheeler too and that he has to go pick it up... She hasn't let up on that idea yet lol.

Other then that, the baby and I are doing great! I can't believe I'm 30 weeks along already. Time has been flying! Of course now the last 10 weeks are going to go by very slowly I'm sure lol.

We still have the puppies here at the house, and Avery can't keep her hands off of them. She wants to love on all of them all of the time. I love this picture I got of her holding a puppy. She's growing up so fast! I look back at picture from just a few months ago and it's hard to believe how big she's gotten.

So that's the latest! Hopefully I'll have more pictures later on this summer when the weather clears up outside a bit! As for now, I'm enjoying the extra time this rain is giving me with my hubby!

It's been way too long!

Hey everybody! I haven't blogged in such a long time, and it definitely has not been because there's been nothing to blog about lol, it's because I've had no time!! So here is a long story short.

For spring break weekend my sister, my two cousins Dawn and Mo, and the all the kids and I went to Lincoln city!! Thanks to my Aunt Barb and Henry we were able to stay in these awesome condos right next to the beach. The weather was pretty lousy most of the time but we still had so much fun! There were sooo many pictures that I loved from that week, but I don't have the time to put them all up lol, so I'm adding a couple of my favorites at the bottem of the blog.

When we got back we had Easter Sunday at my mom and dad's house. It is always fun getting the family together! Avery had a blast hunting easter eggs but by far her favorite thing was the gigantic bunny Chad... I mean the Easter bunny, brought her in her basket. I've never seen a smile so large on her face lol. I'm so glad that we were able to be back for that Sunday! I always want my kids to know the real reason we celebrate Easter and our church does such an awesome job of teaching that. He is risen!! Thank you Lord.

About a week later I went in for my 22 week ultrasound. Baby looks good! And no, we don't know the sex, but we know it's a healthy baby with ten fingers and ten toes lol. Can't wait to meet him/her! I'll add a photo of the ultrasound as well. I know there are a lot of pictures on here, I just couldn't stand to leave some of them out lol.

so that's the jist of the last month or so!! I'll try to be a better blogger!

Vacation and other stuff

Last week Chad and I were lucky enough to take 5 days and go to Las Vegas together thanks to my wonderful sister Katy who gathered up the courage to watch all three of my girls!! Thank you Katy!!! We had so much fun! I wasn't able to take a ton of pictures but I took a few from on top of the Stratusphere, some at the Hoover Dam (not nearly as impressive as we thought it would be by the way) and a couple at Freemont Street. We were also able to go to the Gold and Silver Pawn shop (Pawn Stars). We saw Ric walk through the store really quickly but that was about it. Not a whole lot in there to rave about actually. And it's SUPER small!! it's amazing to me that they can fit a camera crew in there at all lol.

We had the best weather while we were there. Warm, sunny!! Was great! When we got home we had a couple days of nice weather too before it turned yucky again lol. Avery and I spent a lot of time outside in the sun! I got a couple pictures of her jumping up and down on the porch. A few of these pictures crack me up with pig tails flying. I think we were both glad to be back home! :)

Busy Winter!

It was quite a ride this winter coaching basketball. I still can't believe it's over, at least for now!! But I wanted to put a picture on here for the team at the state tournament. We ended up getting 7th place in state. I was so proud of those girls! We also had one girl, Katelynn Clinton, make the all state tournament team top 5! She was also the player of the year in our district. She deserves it! Such a hard worker. I couldn't have asked for a better group of girls for my first year. They hold a very special place in my heart and I will definitely never forget them!

A couple weeks ago we spent some time at my mom and dads. The weather was so nice we decided to spend the day outside. We played basketball and the kids rode around on the power wheels. Makes me long for spring!! It's almost here!! It feels like it's here already. I love the sun! Chad and I went to Las Vegas this last week too, but I will put up another blog before too long with some pictures of that trip. Just a short update on what's been going on with us!

Heading out!

It's been so busy around here lately with basketball that I haven't had a chance to blog much. I'm so happy and proud to say that the Bickleton girl's basketball team took 7th place at the state tournament this last week! I'll post a little more on that when we get back!

Which brings me to my next subject, Las Vegas! Chad and I are heading out today for a much needed vacation, just the two of us, to sunny (hopefully) Las Vegas. We'll be gone until Friday so when I get back I'll be sure to update you all on what's been going on with us the last month or so! Katy is braving this next 5 days and watching the kids for us. What an awesome sister I have!

We'll see ya when we get back!!
