computer crash

I'm sorry if I haven't been keeping up with everyone's blogs lately, but I have no computer! About a week ago it decided not to boot up, and of course I still have yet to take it in to the computer guys in town. Soooo, I promise I will try to keep up as much as I possibly can. I'm writing this at my sister's, and I'll check email and stuff at my mom's house every so often. It shouldn't be too long once I finally take it in to get fixed!

Avery and Dodo

I was looking at some old pictures yesterday, and I came across a couple of Avery and her cousin Joey. She calls him Dodo, I love it. She's always been quite a bit smaller then him, but this top picture cracks me up. They are only 24 days apart. I think this was taken just a few days after she was born.

This is my favorite picture of Joey and Avery. We went and got their 6 mo pictures taken together, and had them use the saddle prop. There was no situating them here, they just sat there and posed themselves. I love this picture! I love the mischievous look on Avery's face lol. I really hope they'll be good buds forever.

They sure do have a lot of fun together now, that is, when one isn't pummeling the other one over the head with something. Joey loves to smother her in kisses, and Avery likes to, well, she just likes to beat Joey up lol. I have so many pictures of Avery and Joey in Hawaii, and almost every single one of them is of Avery pushing Joey down. Joey has started fighting back though!

I'm pretty sure as long as things like this are going on, Avery and "Dodo" will get along swimmingly! It's so fun having a cousin so close to the same age, and Avery definitely loves her big cousin Dodo.

Marge and Avery

Almost a year ago we got our third doggy. She's Avery's dog, and both Avery and Marge know it. It's so funny to watch them together. Avery kisses her and pats her belly, and Marge acts like she's just in the lap of luxioury. She's a good dog, just wish we could get her to stop digging holes!! Any suggestions?

Next year we're going to let her have puppies with our dog Homer. Homer is half chesepeak half german shorthair, and Marge is pure bread german shorthair. I guess they call the cross pointer bays. They should be some really pretty dogs. Good hunting dogs for sure. Those dogs love birds!

WOW update

So far things are going good with the garden. I added some garden soil and tilled it in, then topped it with a bark mulch. I need to buy some more bark. It's just a thin layer and I want to make sure it helps keep those weeds and grasses out so I want it to be a little thicker. I added one lonely flower. I've had this potted flower for two years now and decided it could be my first in the garden! It just needs a couple of friends now. Hopefully after I add the bark and the flowers I can put up a nice trim and then I can clean up a little of the extra dirt around the edges. So far so good!
