Chubby Cheeks!

First off I just wanted to let everybody know that I am still alive!! I was gone for about a week, and then when I returned home my internet was out of commission for a while, but I'm back! We're all doing great here. I'm feeling just fine, no bad pregnancy symptoms at all! Avery did finally get over her yucky flu, and Chad and I are going to FINALLY be able to take a short little family vacation next week.

Last week my mom and I went to Idaho to help out my cousin's daughter at the fair. Avery loved every minute of it. Of course we were all happy to be back home. She had a great time seeing all the different animals, especially the sheep, she loved the sheep! I'm really hoping she won't want to show one when she gets older, talk about an annoying animal lol. Here are a couple recent pictures of my kiddo.

Growing too fast

Avery has really been working hard at putting her own clothes on lately. Of course she doesn't quite get it right. I love this picture though. she pulled a shirt of mine out of the laundry basket and put her head through the sleeve. She was wondering around forever with this thing on, it hung down in the front like a dress, so she'd twirl around and try to make it fly up lol. What a monkey. She's been sick the last couple of days, so we're hoping she gets over that soon!!

Who needs toys?

Avery decided a while back that her toybox would make a much better toy then her actual toys. She threw them all out of the toybox, which to this day has become a daily occurance, and sat in there reading a book. The pictures are a little fuzzy, but I'm sure you get the picture. Sometimes she looks at me while she's in there like, "so are you gonna push me around or what?" She likes being pushed around the house in the laundry basket, so I suppose this is just a bigger basket lol.

New outfit

The other day I bought some of those foam puzzle pieces that go together. You can make squares or matts with them. Avery loves them, or at least she loves tearing them apart! The zero is her favorite though. She had it on her head for a long time as a hat but it wouldn't stay so she decided a skirt was good enough. I can tell already I am going to have a dress up girl on my hands.

I'm Back!! My favorite recents of Avery

Hey everybody. I'm finally back!! I tried to put a post up yesterday, but for some reason it just wouldn't let me get to this page! Finally!!! Anyway, I'm glad to be back in the blogging world. I have quite a few good pictures of Avery last month, but nothing really compares to these, I love em. Hopefully the butt shot isn't too risque lol. This was at Mike and Robyn's (Chad's parents) home just a couple weeks ago. I have lots more pictures to add as the days go on. I was really sad when my computer crashed though because I lost quite a few pictures. Pretty much every picture I've taken over the last 6 months or so. At least picasa kept the ones I blogged! It is good to be back though!!

computer crash

I'm sorry if I haven't been keeping up with everyone's blogs lately, but I have no computer! About a week ago it decided not to boot up, and of course I still have yet to take it in to the computer guys in town. Soooo, I promise I will try to keep up as much as I possibly can. I'm writing this at my sister's, and I'll check email and stuff at my mom's house every so often. It shouldn't be too long once I finally take it in to get fixed!

Avery and Dodo

I was looking at some old pictures yesterday, and I came across a couple of Avery and her cousin Joey. She calls him Dodo, I love it. She's always been quite a bit smaller then him, but this top picture cracks me up. They are only 24 days apart. I think this was taken just a few days after she was born.

This is my favorite picture of Joey and Avery. We went and got their 6 mo pictures taken together, and had them use the saddle prop. There was no situating them here, they just sat there and posed themselves. I love this picture! I love the mischievous look on Avery's face lol. I really hope they'll be good buds forever.

They sure do have a lot of fun together now, that is, when one isn't pummeling the other one over the head with something. Joey loves to smother her in kisses, and Avery likes to, well, she just likes to beat Joey up lol. I have so many pictures of Avery and Joey in Hawaii, and almost every single one of them is of Avery pushing Joey down. Joey has started fighting back though!

I'm pretty sure as long as things like this are going on, Avery and "Dodo" will get along swimmingly! It's so fun having a cousin so close to the same age, and Avery definitely loves her big cousin Dodo.
